YOF / YCF Bidding Rounds for 2010-11

A further £543,500.00 of Youth Capital and Youth Opportunity Funding is available for 2010-11. Bidding rounds will close at the end of June, September and December.

Young people wishing to apply for this funding should download the application forms above and follow the guidance criteria when completing the application.

Following the recent annoucement by Lance Randall to stand down, we can now confirm that Oliver Warne takes the role of MYP for Cheltenham / Tewkesbury and Eleanor Gillett who came 3rd in the election process has confirmed she accepts the Deputy MYP role for Cheltenham / Tewkesbury.

Elections 10 Results Announced ...!

Outgoing Members of Youth Parliament presented their achievements throughout the past 12 months and officially launched the Anti-Bullying Charter to an audience of friends, family, Councillors, MPs and most importanty the Elections 10 Candidates within the Council Chamber, Shire Hall, Gloucester on Thursday, 11 February.

Countdown to Voting Begins!

All information, candidates addresses, ballot papers and boxes have now been delivered to polling stations across the county and the countdown to the opportunity for young people to vote for their representative begins.

Polling station coordinators will now prepare for the vote to take place between Monday, 1 - Wednesday, 3 February.

MYPs Sign Service Level Agreement (SLA) with Police Authority

A need has been identified by the Police Authority Engagement Worker to work with a representative group of young people to review, advise and monitor work relating to the Hear By Right (HBR) Standards. As elected members, reaching over 10,000 voting young people Members of Youth Parliament (MYP’s) are ideally suited to this role.
