Water splash runs every year as a chance for people to meet, have fun and have a little bit of healthy competition, Teams of young people from across the county come together to compete and have loads of fun at South Cerney in a variety of team challenges - MYP’s will be joining in the fun! (Event organized by Gloucestershire Youth Support Service).

MYPs to debate in the House of Commons!

MPs have overwhelmingly voted to allow Members of Youth Parliament to debate in the House of Commons chamber this year.

Following the success of the UK Youth Parliament debate in the chamber last year, MPs voted by a majority of 499 to 21, to allow the event to happen annually for the life of this Parliament.

MPs will debate in the House of Commons tonight (Tuesday, 20 July) to determine whether Members of UK Youth Parliament can sit within the Chamber on an annual basis for the life of this Parliament.

MYPs Countdown to the UKYP Annual Sitting!

In a matter of days, the MYPs will be heading to Belfast for the UKYP’s 2010 Annual Sitting which will be held at Ulster University. This is the first time the Annual Sitting has been held in Northern Ireland and it will be taking place between 23rd – 26th July 2010.
