A Busy Week Ahead!

With most of the Young People up and down the country and around Gloucestershire enjoying a well earned half-term break over the next week or so, for UKYPGlos it is set to be one of busiest weeks of the year!

As you may have already read, Friday is House of Commons debate for the MYPs within the team but that's just one part of this week's action...

The week will also see two of our Deputy MYPs Jasmin and Laurence off on a training day in Worcester to find out more about volunteering, leadership and working in a team.

Later in the week, under CJ's guidance, members of the team will be running a workshop at an event in Guild Hall, Gloucester to inspire young people and let them know exactly what is on offer for them around the county from the Youth Service and beyond. This event for UKYPGlos will focus on the life of an MYP and recruitment for the 2010 Elections which are just around the corner!

On Thursday the team will be spread across the country with three members heading down to Taunton with CJ for the termly regional meeting, getting together with the rest of the South West to find out what's new, what's been happening and up and coming events for the SW of UKYP.

Meanwhile, Rupert will have his media hat on in London as his role of Media Representative takes him to Westminster in preparation for Friday's big event. The day will include training, preparation and a great deal of work with various media outlets highlighting the UKYP work in Westminster and making the day as high profile as possible!

As you can see it's all happening this week, so watch this space and let us know if you see us out and about at any of our events!
