Your Green Future is being run by Global Dimension Trust, a Gloucestershire based charity which works at both local and international levels to support global learning.
Your Green Future is a free two day innovative and exciting careers event.
It will be held on the 29th and 30th September 2010 at Pittville Pump Rooms, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire.
All secondary schools in Gloucestershire are invited to bring up to 20 students in years 11, 12 and 13 to one of the two days.
Students will learn about the growth of the green economy and about the wide range of innovative, ambitious and effective initiatives which work towards environmental sustainability, cutting greenhouse gas emissions, implementing green practices and achieving economic growth.
At an introductory session leading business personnel will inform students about key green issues. All students will then attend four event areas. Three of these will be interactive sessions led by experts. The fourth will be an exhibition area where students will be able to gain advice on universities, apprenticeships and careers.
