On Thursday, 8 October MYPs met with Members of the Gloucestershire County Council Cabinet to present information about their roles, what they have done to date and more importantly, officially launch the 2009/10 Manifesto.
In addition to launching the manifesto, MYPs discussed ways in which the Cabinet Members may support their priorities and presented the Cabinet with a copy of the Transport Petition and Anti-Bullying Report.
The meeting was a great success and certainly created lots of discussion and debate.
The Manifesto has now been circulated to youth projects and schools and it is hoped that this document will also help raise awareness of the UK Youth Parliament.
