We went to Taunton today for our first regional meeting of the year. The day started off with ice-breakers and introductions and then we moved on to more serious stuff like what UKYP does, how it runs and what its point is.
I also participated in two workshops- one about diversity within UKYP and the second workshop was about GP’s services in our local areas.
Whilst these workshops were going on the other groups had a talk about the residential which is coming up and a talk about the media and a mini media workshop.
Just before we left we had a talk on communication with each other and safety whilst using the internet.
Overall it was a really good day with a lot of fun but also quite a bit of work.
